I have to pronounce my name every time I meet someone new due to the ‘odd’ spelling, I’ve got my parents to thank for that! I have climbed Snowdon in North Wales around 8 times with the first being when I was just aged 5, there is also a plaque with my name on it in the building (Hafod Eyri) at the summit.
I studied Bsc (Hons) Architectural Technology at the University of Brighton
I worked in a small Engineering & Architecture firm local to me in Horley near Gatwick before moving to Mitchell Evans.
The most unusual and challenging project I have worked on has to be my parents 2 storey extension which is still ongoing – I have completed the drawings; project managed and even got my hands dirty in some of the works! Future note to self – Don’t have parents for clients!
My favourite building is the CCTV building in Beijing as it almost looks like it shouldn’t remain standing!
I have been working in the industry for a year, I graduated from University in May 2021 and joined Mitchell Evans in March 2022.
The 6-year-old me wanted to be a builder when I grew up, failing that a police officer. I guess I’m somewhat along the right lines!
