For this year’s staff summer event, the Mitchell Evans team decided to walk a bit of the “Wight” in memory of Lynn Bennett who sadly passed away recently after a 10-year heroic battle with cancer. She was such a brave and stoic lady who never complained and always maintained a lovely smile on her face throughout her battle with this cruel disease.

Lynn started working at Mitchell Evans in 2006 and for all who knew her, you will remember what an influential, vibrant member of staff she was, and you may have even been lucky enough to sample her delicious cakes.

She will be sadly missed by us all, but never forgotten and her wishes from her funeral were that donations be made to ‘Breast Cancer Now’. We managed to raise over £1k towards the wonderful charity.
