Our brief was to design a modest contemporary rear extension to the rear of the existing reception rooms to create a modern sitting room and study with views and access into the rear garden.

In addition the new pitched roof over the rear extension wrapped around the side of the property to replace the flat roof over the garage and was then further extended across the front of the property to create a deep covered entrance porch. The roof form allowed the extension to have high ceilings and large expanses of glass were provided, giving unrestricted view of the garden. The contemporary feel of the extension was continued throughout the ground floor in the furniture, decoration and lighting scheme, to achieve the clients desired end result.
