This project involved the extension to, and complete refurbishment of, the original Arts and Crafts inspired country house located in a quiet, edge of a village, semi-rural position.

Our clients had a particular preference for the painted rendered Georgian and Victorian houses of central London and wished to create a classically styled country home and this therefore required considerable remodelling works. Once extended the main house measured in excess of 10,000 square feet and incorporated a very large kitchen/breakfast room/orangery, family room, snug, two studies and formal sitting and dining room plus five large ensuite bedrooms at first floor level and a gymnasium and staff apartment in the converted loft.

In addition to the main house works, the project also included the refurbishment of the guest cottage, new oak framed garaging, a new pool house and tennis court along with significant landscaping works.
