Before I became an architect, I came from a lithographic printing background.
Architecture Degree and Masters at Portsmouth University.
Portsmouth City Council and a few private practices, mainly on the Isle of Wight.
I have a keen interest in ‘green’ architecture and have had the privilege to be involved in a number of sustainable / renewable projects in the previous practices I have worked in, so naturally Greenwood Lodge in Brading, Isle of Wight is definitely the most interesting in that is the largest and more sophisticated to date.
Difficult to say there are so many, The Rietveld Schröder House (also known as the Schröder House) in Utrecht stands out amongst my favorites.
I have spent around 17.5 years in the industry in various capacities and 2.5 years at Mitchell Evans.
As a small boy, I wanted to become a bus driver. You never know…..?
