• Tell us something about you that not many people know?

  In my younger teenage years, I used to participate in national Disco Dancing competitions and in later years I did Salsa dancing.

• Where and what did you study to get yourself where you are today?

  Secondary school, followed by secretarial college

• Where have you worked previously?

  Various secretarial positions within a wide variety of establishments – way too many to mention

• What is the most interesting/exciting/unusual project you have worked on to date?

  Being part of a set-up for ‘Sports Match’, a government funded opportunity for local community sports and sporting establishments to gain ‘match’ funding for any funds they managed to secure. At the end of the project the team were invited to a drinks reception at Buckingham Palace and I was personally thanked by Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh – sadly the Queen was out that day!

• What is your favourite building, it can be anywhere in the universe?

  I have admired many buildings in the past, but having recently visited Rome, my favourite by far has to be the Pantheon for its understated beauty and its simplicity

• How long have you been working in this industry / how long have you worked at MELLP?

  As a secretary, way way too long – since I left school. In the industry of architecture within Mitchell Evans, just over 4 years

• What do you want to be when you grow up / what did the ‘6 year old’ you want to be when you grew up?

  The ‘6 year old’ me had no idea and didn’t even think about it, then as I started secondary school, I wanted to write and illustrate children’s books – I still do!
