• Tell us something about you that not many people know?

  I am a puppeteer using Muppet style puppets. Our team perform every month at a puppet service for our local church. I really enjoy making the props and organising the craft for the children too.

• Where and what did you study to get yourself where you are today?

  Being part of the admin staff my Private Secretarial Certificate was taken at Guildford Technical College, more years ago than I care to remember.

• Where have you worked previously?

  Cornhill Insurance which then became part of the Alliance group.

• What is the most interesting/exciting/unusual project you have worked on to date?

  Interesting – Chilworth Manor was a great project to work on. I got to visit site several times during the process and have been back since to various events there. It is lovely to see how the owners put new life back into the place and are using the property to its full potential.

• What is your favourite building, it can be anywhere in the universe?

  Hard to choose just one but I will go for Hampton Court Palace it is the complete package an imposing building, beautiful rich colour brickwork, those amazing chimneys, such skill and workmanship for the time it was built.

• How long have you been working in this industry / how long have you worked at MELLP?

  Can hardly remember a time when I didn’t work at MELLP! I think it is 21 years now, I’ve been here long than anyone else It seems it’s a job for life.

• What do you want to be when you grow up / what did the ‘6 year old’ you want to be when you grew up?

  Mostly just happy and healthy, don’t we all? The 6 year old me wanted to be a nurse or a hairdresser, I still cut my own hair today, don’t look too closely at the photo!
