The brief was to create a modern family home in an Arts and Crafts style, with traditional features and detailing.

This has been achieved with the mixture of fair-faced brickwork, plain clay roofing tiles and tile hanging, oak framing, herringbone brickwork and oriel windows. The dwelling has been designed to take advantage of the large gardens and the rear elevations are orientated to these spaces. Although the dwelling has five bedrooms and four bathrooms, the layout of the accommodation provides a homely feel with well integrated family spaces.
