The project involved the sub-division and refurbishment of the existing Grade II Listed Farmhouse and Oast, plus the conversion of two attached historic barns into residential units for a developer client.

Detailed negotiations were undertaken with the local authority to agree the provision of two new barn style, timber framed 5 bedroomed dwellings which were required to make the project viable, due to the costs to undertake the extensive refurbishment works required to the Listed building.

Once completed, the farmhouse comprised a characterful 5 bedroom, 5 bathroom family property with large kitchen/breakfast room, separate sitting room and dining room. A modest extension to the Oast allowed the creation of a 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom family house. The historic barns, once converted, each provided comfortable spacious 5 bedroom homes.
