The original barn buildings were converted in the mid-1990’s to residential accommodation. Our clients purchased the property in 2017 and the property needed to be fully renovated and remodelled to create a modern family home.

The works included the relocation of the kitchen into the original double height threshing barn whilst a new mezzanine library was accessed via a contemporary glazed staircase. The bedroom wing was remodelled to create a master bedroom suite, two further children’s bedrooms and a guest suite. The opposite wing was redesigned to include a separate annexe, boot room and formal sitting and dining rooms.

The works included landscaping to the enclosed courtyard and a new swimming pool and terrae to the rear of the property. The renovation works included new windows throughout, oak weatherboarding and provision of a bio-mass boiler for heating and hot water.
