The house was commended and won the Award for Excellence in Architectural Technology in 2017.

The project comprised the replacement of the original rather tired bungalow with a statement contemporary house, on a modest plot that enjoyed excellent southerly views over open countryside. The accommodation is laid out over a single storey raised above ground level to clear the local flood plain levels and comprises an open plan kitchen/dining/living room with two bedroom suites and a study.
