This large period country house is set within extensive grounds which also include a detached cottage and a number of barns and outbuildings.

The project brief included the complete refurbishment of the main house where all the existing ground floors were replaced in order to introduce new under floor heating and new timber and tiled floor finishes throughout. The interiors were completely transformed with a new kitchen, bar, and bathrooms using high end fixtures and fittings. New bespoke joinery was installed to the majority of the spaces and decorations included sandblasting the existing oak framing, which was then finished in a limewash grey to create a contemporary feel.

The overall project also included the full refurbishment of the cottage, provision of a new car port, studio, walled vegetable gardens and extensive landscaping. The second phase of the project included the construction of new underground pool house located adjacent to the existing swimming pool, comprising of gym, steam room, changing and massage facilities, together with a new pool terrace with a reclaimed timber pergola and Argentinian BBQ.
